Enrollment E-Mail Answers
Does an individual need an e-mail address to apply for online learning?
Yes. An e-mail address is required to sign up for an online learning course with the Partnership. You may use your home e-mail address.
Are employee records updated when an employee moves or changes his/her name or e-mail address?

Enrollment General Answers
How long do I have to use the program?
If your agency is participating, you are given a specified time (typically its one year) to use the program. You should contact the online learning liaison in your agency to see how much time remains.
If your agency is not participating, you will be able to use the program for up to six months. You may ask for an extension at the end of that period by contacting the Partnership at onlinelearninghelp@nyscseapartnership.org.
Is an application required each time an individual wants to take an online learning course?
No. This information is kept on file from the time the employee enrolls. You only have to apply once.
Why am I getting a message that states "We already have an employee with the same name and e-mail. You may have already registered?"
Your name is already in the system and it will not allow you to register more than one time. If you have already filled out an application all you have to do is wait. It usually takes about a week to process your application. You should receive notification by e-mail advising whether you have been accepted into the online learning program. If it has been a week and you haven't received the e-mail, then you should contact the Partnership at onlinelearninghelp@nyscseapartnership.org.
Note: Some e-mails are blocked (referred to as SPAM) and are put in a quarantined or deleted area of your e-mail program on your computer. Please check those areas for e-mail messages received from liaison@nyscseapartnership.org regarding the Partnership's Online Learning program.
Who provides the user names and passwords?
The Agency Online Learning Liaison will e-mail the user name and password to you if your agency is participating in the program. If you are an individual user (agency not participating) the Partnership will provide you with the user name and password.
No. Employees who have been issued a user name and password are, in effect, receiving permission to use a State resource. All courses taken by someone using a given user name and password will appear on that person’s transcript.
