I just filled out my application online and tried to log in and was not successful: What should I do?
You have to wait for your application to be processed, which usually takes about a week. You will receive an e-mail letting you know whether you have been accepted into the program or not. If you have been accepted into the program you will receive another e-mail that provides you with your user name and password.
I typed in my password and I got a message "Invalid User Name and/or password." What happened?
Check the e-mail you received regarding Important Information. This contains your user name and password. Verify that you typed it correctly. If a dash appears in your password be sure to include it when you type your password.
Note: Some e-mails are blocked (referred to as SPAM) and are put in a quarantined or deleted area of your e-mail program on your computer. Please check those areas for e-mail messages received from liaison@nyscseapartnership.org regarding the Partnership's Online Learning program.
I forgot my username and/or password: How do I get it?
From the Online Learning Home Page click on Forgot My User Name/Password. You will be asked to type in your name and your e-mail address (make sure you use the same e-mail address that you put on your application). A message with your user name and password information will be sent to that e-mail address.
Once you log in with your user name and password you will see the Online Learning Center web page. Then click on Change Password. This brings you to a page that enables you to enter the current password and then allows you to enter a new password of your choice. Once you click on Submit, your password will be changed. The next time you log in you will use your new password.
Do I have to log in to take my courses?
Yes. You must be connected to the Internet, and then use your online learning user name and password to log into the Online Learning Center web page. After you are on the Online Learning Center web page you will be able to access either the Partnership or SkillSoft courses.
I tried to log into online learning from SkillSoft to take my course on Sunday, but I couldn't do it. What's wrong?
SkillSoft courses are unavailable from 1-3 p.m. on Sundays and 1-2 a.m. on Wednesdays, as these two time periods are set aside for SkillSoft’s routine server maintenance. As soon as that time is past, you will be able to access your courses again!
