An understanding of the labor-management environment and appropriate use of the contract helps supervisors and CSEA representatives work more effectively to prevent grievances. This course offers case studies to build on the knowledge and skills you will gain in the first four lessons. In addition, you will use the contract and other forums to resolve hypothetical issues in the workplace. You will be able to discuss your questions with classmates on a discussion board and e-mail your instructors for additional subject matter expertise.
Members of management, CSEA activists (such as local presidents), and supervisors of one or more CSEA-represented NYS employees who need to be informed about the details of the contract.
