Online Administrative Skills Certificate Program

The Administrative Skills Certificate Program (ASCP) is a self-directed and creative way to learn new, critical job-related skills or refresh those that you may have previously learned.

The ASCP is a FREE online home study program designed specifically for CSEA-represented NYS clerical, secretarial, and paraprofessional administrative employees in the Administrative Services Unit (ASU/02). Take the courses at your own pace, in the comfort of your home, during this six-month program. It may be possible for you to take courses at work, but you will need approval from your supervisor.

To participate in the program all you need is a computer and a connection to the Internet. Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. The ASCP will be offered from December 1, 2011 to May 31, 2012.
