We are pleased to announce the fall 2008 and spring 2009 schedules of Skills for Success courses for CSEA-represented employees (New York State, local government, and private sector) offered by the NYS & CSEA Partnership for Education and Training (Partnership). The Partnership is jointly sponsored and administered by the New York State Governor's Office of Employee Relations (GOER) and the Civil Service Employees Association (CSEA). Course participation by local government and private sector employees is sponsored by the CSEA WORK Institute.
You are invited to take advantage of the training courses listed in this web catalog. Courses are listed under the topic headings of Adult Education Basics; Clerical and Secretarial; Educational Advisement; Institutional and Direct Care; Operations and Maintenance; and Work and Life. We urge you to work with your supervisor to select courses most suitable for your work and personal goals. You may take any of the courses offered, even if the course is not related to your job.
