Educational Advisement Services

In addition to advice on using tuition benefits, Partnership advisors are available to work with you in the following areas:

  • Financing Your Education - Information about various financial aid programs, eligibility requirements, federal tax credits, and scholarship searches.

  • Academic Advisement - Assistance with choosing courses best suited to your needs, determining whether a school or non-traditional program is your best alternative, deciding whether or not to pursue a college degree, and choosing a college major.

  • Adult Education Basics, GED, and ESOL - Referral information, advisement and financial assistance to improve math, reading, and writing skills; study English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL); obtain a high school diploma or General Educational Development (GED); or enhance pre-college skills.

Support Services for Students with Disabilities

Many colleges offer assistance to students who have a physical or learning disability. If you have a disability and are interested in taking courses, it is important that you call the Partnership at (800) 253-4332 or call the school as soon as possible so that services can be arranged.

This site provides a way for current state employees to identify transfer and promotion opportunities, and to provide a way for state agencies to publicize their vacancies to this specialized market.
