MATH AND WRITING SKILLS
Some employees have been doing the same
paperwork for ten years and feel they have lost all their math and
writing skills. They want to go back to school, but need a refresher course.
What should they take?
If other CSEA-represented NYS employees at a worksite are having the
same concerns, the Partnership can bring an Adult Education Basics
course to that worksite. NYS managers and CSEA leaders
need to submit a joint request; the course will be delivered at no cost
to the State agency. The Partnership can also provide a tuition voucher
for the school of an employee’s choice, so he/she can take an Adult
Education Basics course almost anywhere. [Return
